How it Works

Flavorkey is so easy, we’ve broken the process down into four simple steps, or the “4 P’s”: Simply Prepare the brine, Pierce, Pulse and Place.”
First, prepare the bring by dissolving 1 tablespoon salt and 1 teaspoon sugar (optional) per 1 cup of cold water. Next, pierce the meat, following the grain with the Flavorkey’s stainless steel fork blades. Then pulse the blades into meat, using the thumb switch on the Flavorkey to initiate the process. Repeat these two steps until you’ve pierced and puled the entire piece of meat. Finally, place the meat into the remainder of the prepared brine and allow it to rest. In the short time it takes for your grill or oven to come to temperature, the Flavorkey CP guarantees that you’ll have produced perfectly brined poultry, beef, pork and other meats to be cooked on the grill, smoker, oven, stovetop — or any other of your favorite cooking methods.
Oftentimes cooking gadgets can be more of a hassle than they are worth when it comes to clean up time. You can rest assured that the Flavorkey is as easy to clean as it is to use. The nonstick, hardened stainless steel fork blade electrodes are removable and dishwasher safe. The handle can be easily wiped clean and stored easily in a small drawer — so even kitchens with limited space can accommodate the Flavorkey.
